Admittedly, this is not the cheerful perky kind of song that I am known for, but some subjects deserve a more serious tone. This song had been rumbling about in my head for a while, and I managed to finish it and share it for the first time in April during National Child Abuse Awareness Month. Any kind of child abuse is horrific. However, it is important to note that not all abuse is physical. Emotional abuse is every bit as frightening and devastating as physical abuse. This song is the story of a young girl struggling with emotional abuse from her mother.
